Paul Mallard is senior Pastor of Woodgreen Evangelical Church, Worcester, and currently the President of FIEC (Fellowship of Independent Evangelical Churches). His enthusiasm is for teaching the Bible so that it is readily understood and applicable to life today, and he emphasises the importance of training a new generation of Christian leaders. After studying theology at Cambridge University he taught for five years before his call to the pastoral ministry, serving first in Chippenham and since 1995 at Woodgreen. He is married with four children, and still feels great affection for Birmingham where he was born and brought up, and he is a keen West Bromwich Albion supporter.
